The potato barrels have grown like crazy!

The 'dust' on the apples is actually pine pollen.

the Beaver Lodge in our pond.

Up close--isn't it funny how they can just pile sticks, mud, and weeds!

Here's the beaver at work on the dam. Notice the size, compared to our canoe!
This is one huge beaver.

Here is a closer look at the beaver dam.

Every evening the beavers are out there, scooping mud from the bottom and piling it on the dam.
Here they have also gotten some weeds.

Mud and sticks! That's all that is holding back thousands of gallons of pond!

The water has never, as long as I can remember, been this high.

This is the 'inlet' for the pond. Some of the green is duckweed, but most of it is pine pollen.

Wild Iris! These delicate beauties are about the size of a the palm of a small hand. Much smaller than those in a garden.

What?!? Daisies in a piece of drift wood?

Here's a little fellow who stopped in for a bite, and got more than he bargained for.
The dogs had him treed, and even when we made the dogs come in, he stayed there for hours.

This is our Laura's Yellow Flowers. So named because they came from the lawn of
a neighbor named Laura! She has long since passed away, and we don't know what these
flowers are called. If anyone knows, let me know.

Wild strawberries. They are about the size of a pea, sweet and tart at the same time.

Apples, after the rain. The 'bubbles' on the apple are actually raindrops.

I had no idea I had a deep pink Peony! It had never blossomed, and I decided
it was in a too shady spot. Last year I moved it and just look at this glorious bloom.

My Morning Glories are growing from seed I saved last year.

The DayLilies are budding.
