Birds in the Woods
I've just put up feeders outside my glass door,
and plan to take pictures of native birds.
Here are some old and some new!
Bald Eagle, taken a few years ago.
A Wood Duck and two Canadian Geese.
Female and male Mallards.
? Bird's eggs
Chickadees
This is apparently a female Brown-Headed Cowbird.
American Robin
An immature Redwinged Blackbird
Brown-headed Cowbird
Turkey Buzzard.
I'll try for a better one!
Chipping Sparrows
Grackle?
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Purple Finch
Great Blue Heron
Common Rock Dove? Or Mourning Dove?
I am not sure, but it has to be one of the two!
Two American Goldfinches and the Rose-breasted Grossbeak share the feeder.
Hummers are back!
